"I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. 3 He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord." -Psalm 40:1-3
It is the mission of Psalm 40 to come alongside those who desire to make a change in their lives. This includes those who are in need of physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual renewal; as well as those who wish to break free from life-controlling addictions.
Psalm 40 offers quality Christian based alternative for those seeking a recovery process sensitive and alike in their own morals, values, and spiritual beliefs. Although Psalm 40 is a Christian non-profit, we welcome people from all faiths and circumstances.
Psalm 40 provides education and coaching in the areas of: managing stress, releasing pain, detoxifying the body and home, and improving one’s quality of life.

Gary sees his work as a direct ministry and invites others to explore their spirituality with an open mind. A healthy relationship with God is key to lasting recovery. His goal here on the Olympic Peninsula is to be part of God’s desire to heal His people. God has called us into freedom from anything that seeks to control one’s life outside of His perfect plan. Life controlling dependencies such as those created by alcohol and other drugs, not only prevent and erode the life of those suffering, it distorts the individual’s potentials, destroys family relationships and leaves a legacy of pain and sorrow. With counseling from a trained professional, recovery and healing can be a reality.
